August sold one of houses in 23 days. The other house we listed with him was sold in 59 days. I highly recommend him or his mother agency. I hadn't purchased a home in nearly 30 years. I found out quickly that the market was so good that houses were selling same day they were listed and even above asking price. So I searched the web and hired a well known realtor with incredible credentials. After less than 10 days I ended up having to give up on this realtor. I missed out on 3 houses I was very interested in due to very slow or no response from the realtor. I went back to the web and stumbled upon a local realtor, Smythe Realty. After my first experience with the other well know realtor needless to say my expectations were not high. I first called and talked to Tanya Smythe who informed me that her son Austin would call me. I received a call from Austin in less than 5 mins (Hmmm good start already). Austin went through several questions to find out what I was looking for so that I did not waste my time. We talked about the market and how fast houses were selling and I had little time to aquire a home. I explained my experience with the prior realtor. Austin assured me this experience would be different. Austin was right, what a difference. Austin emailed me a list of houses in about 45 mins. I had questions on one of them and he answered right away. I looked at several houses in the time I worked with Austin and he was always available and ready to look over the house with me, give me advice and also give his honest opinon from his experiences. I NEVER had to wait to look at a home or miss out on a home due to slow response or Austin being busy. Then came the day I found my home. Austin knew this house would not stay on the market but a day or two. We made the deal that day and right after they accepted my offer there were 2 back-up offers on it. But thanks to Austin's dedication and hard work I got it!! I moved in my home the first of June. There are a lot of larger realtors, with fancy slogans and colored jackets and all. But I found out that the biggest realty company is not always better. Especially when you put them against Smythe Realty. And just so you know, they do not forget about you after the sale. Nearly 4 months after the purchase I reached out to Austin this morning with a question and he got me an answer immediately. If you are reading this because you are looking for a realtor I hope you give these fine people a chance. I cannot imagine using anyone else. We like to complain when service or product is not up to par. I wanted to let you know that here is a way to avoid that. Thanks Austin, for everything you did for me!
